Great American Bake Sale

This grant program, offered by Share Our Strength in partnership with Parade Magazine, provides funding to advocates and program sponsors working with either the Summer Food Service Program or the federally funded after school meal program.

Oregon Food Bank

Another good all-around resource for information on hunger and emergency food resources in Oregon. They also provide food at low cost for some summer meal programs.

USDA Power Panther Zone

Power Panther, USDA’s nutrition programs big blue mascot, may be available to visit your site! Visit the Zone for information on borrowing the costume and ordering a variety of stickers, temporary tattoos, and activity sheets, all focused on PP’s favorite saying, “Eat smart, play hard!”
